Ted Fisher is a documentary filmmaker, photographer and teacher. His films screen regularly in festivals, and he exhibits in museums and galleries. His video work for The New York Times won two consecutive Webby Awards.

Projects include the Frugal Traveler: The Grand Tour series (Webby award 2009) and the Frugal Traveler: American Road Trip series (Webby award 2008) for The New York Times.

Curator of Digital Media (1997 - 2002)
California Museum of Photography
University of California, Riverside
Curated museum exhibitions based in digital media and developed over 100 Web projects for the museum. Programmed a series of screenings presenting short-form digital video works. Founded the Digital Studio program, which received three National Endowment for the Arts grants.

Public Art Coordinator (1991 - 1997)
Riverside Arts Foundation, Riverside, California.
Directed public art projects with budgets ranging from $500 to $150,000 as well as the “ConTemporary Access” exhibition program. Organized community arts events. Wrote, edited and designed the ARTimes publication.
